Woman Who Used County Money For Dog Tuxedo Sentenced To 20 Years Probation

Kristi Goss was an administrative assistant for the Garland County judge in Hot Springs, Arkansas (about 45 miles southwest of Little Rock). In September, she pleaded guilty to using a county credit card for her own personal expenses, to the tune of $366,000.

Some of the items she used the county credit card for include Arkansas Razorbacks sporting tickets, a diamond bracelet, utility bills and car payments, and our favorite purchase – a tuxedo for her Pug.

Yesterday, she was sentenced to 20 years of probation.

Goss has said that she regrets her actions and that the stress of supporting her family had become “too much for her.”

No word on why the Pug needed a tuxedo.
