“Teen Mom 2” Star Accused Of Stealing Pregnant Pit Bull, But She Fights Back

Jenelle Evans Pit Bull

Ever since she starred on Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans has been surrounded by drama. She always has loyal supporters, but of course, there are also haters trying to bring her down after every post she makes. Yet, when she posted videos of a pregnant Pit Bull that she claimed to have rescued, fans grew confused. The information she shared about the dog just didn’t add up.

So, did she save the dog from an unfortunate situation? Or did the dog wander onto her property? Evans tells her side of the story, but it’s up to fans to decide what they believe.

Heartwarming Story or Suspicious Activity?

The dispute began after Evans shared a video of a Pit Bull nursing newborn puppies, who were born under Evans’ care. Evans proudly announced that she was a “new mommy again,” referring to the pups. But of course, fans quickly wondered where this new dog came from.

Some news outlets were told that Evans found the dog on her property. The Pit Bull was underweight and cold, so she and her husband took the pregnant pup in. They supposedly contacted neighbors to find the dog’s family, but they never mentioned taking the dog to the shelter to check for a microchip.

While this one story makes sense, Evans shared a different explanation online.

“Wow, now it turns into ‘call the cops on Jenelle for a stray pit bull having puppies,’” Evans wrote on Twitter. “I did not breed this dog. I did not steal this dog. I gave this dog a home and have been feeding her. Whoever left this dog chained outside being pregnant in 35-degree weather is beyond me but luckily she found us and we gave her a warm spot to sleep since then. Don’t leave your animals out in the freezing weather.”

Of course, we’d all like to believe that she helped rescue a mistreated dog. And if that’s the true story, then she definitely had the right intentions. Yet, something doesn’t add up, and it’s unusual that she wouldn’t have reported the family to animal control or talked to a shelter.

Where the Dog is Now

Evans quickly got fed up with all the negative comments. However, many followers were simply concerned about the dog’s well-being. After all, Evans’ family has a rough history with dogs. Her husband, David, killed their family dog Nugget after the pup reportedly tried to bite their kid. So, followers feared that something bad would happen to this dog as well.

One person commented claiming that they knew the Pit Bull’s family. They were furious with Evans for sharing misinformation, questioning why she never brought the dog to the local animal shelter. That person hasn’t made any comments since though.

Not long after sharing an adorable video of the Pit Bull puppies, Evans made another update in an attempt to silence the haters.

“Yup… we found the other dog’s owner and they picked the dog up. I don’t share EVERY detail of my life anymore,” Evans wrote on Twitter.

This post was meant to help everyone relax, but people just seemed even more confused. After all, if Evans really did rescue the dog from a cold yard, why would she return them to their family?

It’s unclear what the true story is. Of course, it’s always a good idea to help a neglected dog, but calling animal control for assistance is a good idea in that situation. Evans likely had good intentions in mind, but she could’ve tried harder to find the dog’s home. Luckily, the dog is safe now, so that’s all that matters.
