We all know dogs have hearts of pure gold but some dogs go the extra mile to show it. Such is the case for a young Dalmatian by the name of Wiley. This dotted boy doesn’t just wear his heart on his sleeve… he wears it on his nose! It’s easy to look at Wiley and instantly fall in love.

A Nose Knows No Limits
Lexi Smith, Wiley’s mom, noticed the unique feature soon after bringing home her sassy and mischievous spotted bundle of joy. She was worried that the heart might not retain its shape as Wiley grew but luckily it did.
“I wasn’t sure if it was going to stick because the top left part of it was a somewhat detached spot,” she told The Dodo.
This decorated Dalmatian is the talk of the town everywhere he goes. He soaks up all the attention he can get since his personality is just as charming as his looks.
“Can’t take him anywhere without being mobbed, but he loves all the attention. He is cute and he knows it,” said Lexi.
Wiley’s personality is just as vibrant as his looks. Proud mom Lexi knows she can always count on Wiley to brighten her day.
“He is a stubborn little sweetheart full of sass and constantly making me laugh. He is a cuddle bug when he wants to be, but when he is ready to play, you better be ready to, too,” she said.

No “No’s” With That Nose
As you can imagine, Wiley gets his way quite often. Who could possibly say no to looks like that? His mom says she taught him how to sit pretty early on so now he sits whenever he wants something. Believe it or not, he has been known to throw a temper tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. Luckily for him, he almost always gets what he wants. Are you surprised?
“He scoffs and grunts at you when you tell him no, but he doesn’t have to deal with that often since he’s so cute and usually gets his way,” said Lexi.

A Personality as Unique as His Face
Dalmatians are naturally stubborn dogs with strong attitudes and bold personalities. Wiley’s mom agrees that he demands a lot of attention but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Lexi told The Animal Club, “I have been really lucky with Wiley, though. He has the best heart, and I’m not talking about the one on his nose. He loves everyone he meets and is always so excited to make new friends.”
The two live in Colorado where they enjoy exploring the beautiful outdoors together.

“He has been relatively easy to train and has made the best little adventure partner I could ask for. He requires so much attention and he’s basically attached to my hip, but that’s what I love about him,” said Lexi.
