While Spears suspected that her father had something to do with the dogs’ disappearance, the dog sitter stated that the pop star wasn’t properly caring for her pets. The situation eventually escalated when a housekeeper claimed that Spears physically struck her during a disagreement. Spears loves her dogs very much, but is she providing the best care for them? Two Dogs Disappear
Spears panicked when her dogs disappeared from her home. It happened only days after her dad agreed to step down as her conservator, so she suspected he was up to something.
Spears rarely posts about her dogs, but it’s thought that they are a Maltese with an unknown name and a Yorkie named Hannah. She called the police and reported the missing dogs, but when they arrived, she had a change of heart and decided not to report the incident.
The pet sitter claims to be the one who took the dogs, saying it was in their best interest. She says the dogs seemed seriously ill, with one possibly on the verge of death. So, she rushed them to the vet and decided to keep them for the time being.
The sitter believes that Spears might’ve been neglecting the pups, but sources close to the singer say she loves them too much to ignore their care.
However, the housekeeper spoke up on behalf of the sitter. She said that the dogs seemed dehydrated at the time. The housekeeper even had photos of the dogs looking ill on her phone, so she tried to show them to Spears. Yet, the housekeeper claims that Spears got angry at the photos and struck her. Spears says that she tried to swipe the phone away but never hit anyone.

A few days after the dogs’ disappearance, reports shared that the dogs are back home with Spears. A source close to the star explained that one of the dogs has severe digestive problems and likely grew sick because of too many table scraps. Both dogs also need to be on a very specific diet. The vet has given Spears more directions on how to address these health concerns.
“Her dogs are a sensitive breed that often has health issues. She has gotten clear instructions about how to care for the dogs now,” a source said.
The dog sitter kept them for two weeks before returning them to Spears. The sitter is still working for Spears, but the housekeeper is not. She filed a police report for battery after the heated argument with Spears. Yet, Spears is very adamant that she never touched the housekeeper.
The investigation will be forwarded to an attorney for review. It’s unclear who’s telling the truth, but there’s not enough information for the public to jump to conclusions. Thankfully, Spears’ two dogs are safe now and receiving better care, which is the number one priority.
