Not only is “dog” in rapper Snoop Dogg’s name, but he’s also a huge animal lover. He has about 11 dogs and a few cats, and he suspects that number will only increase. But even with so many furry friends to care for, his heart breaks whenever something bad happens to one.
Recently, one of his French Bulldogs named Frank went missing. Frank looks a lot like his famous Frenchie named Julez, but unlike his big brother, Frank doesn’t have his own social media presence. After Frank disappeared, Snoop Dogg frantically searched for his furry friend, offering a huge reward to anyone that could bring the pup home.
Finding Frank
According to Snoop Dogg’s Instagram post, Frank went missing on January 30th, 2022 in South Los Angeles. He shared a lost dog poster with a photo of Frank’s adorable face. He also linked an Instagram account to the post that people could reach out to with information.
“MISSING DOG Please help us find our missing dog. His name is Frank. He is a gray stripe french bulldog. He went missing 1/30/2022 approximately at 7:30 p.m,” the flyer reads.
Since French Bulldogs are in high demand, especially around LA, it’s common for them to get stolen and sold. Lady Gaga’s French Bulldogs were just some of the many victims of dog theft. It’s unclear if Frank ran away or was kidnapped, but either way, time is crucial. Snoop Dogg wanted his furry friend home before he ended up in the wrong hands.
Luckily, his followers were quick to spread the word, which helped the celebrity locate the lost dog.
Lovely Couple Saves the Day
Just over a day after the Frenchie went missing, Snoop Dogg posted an exciting update. He shared a video of himself announcing that Frank had returned home. In the video, he thanked the couple who helped him reunite with his furry friend.
“And to the lovely couple that brought the dog back, I got some gifts for y’all for looking out,” Snoop Dogg said in the video.
Snoop Dogg didn’t say where the dog had been or how the couple found him, but the details probably aren’t important to him. He’s just happy to know that all of his dogs are safe once again.
The dog-loving rapper will be hosting the 2022 Puppy Bowl with Martha Stewart. The duo is excited to spend time with the puppies and find them great homes. Snoop Dogg will also be part of the Super Bowl halftime show with Mary J. Blige, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem.
