You Helped Four At-Risk Pit Bull Puppies Find Loving Homes!

When you purchase items from the iHeartDogs store, part of that profit is donated to GreaterGood. GreaterGood is an incredible organization that supports charities, many of which help dogs in need. Thanks to loyal customers like you, a lot of at-risk dogs get a second chance at life. Mickey, Minnie, Oz, and Daisy are just four of the many dogs that iHeartDogs sales have saved!

Mickey, Minnie, Oz, and Daisy are four Pit Bull siblings. They were dropped off together at the Porterville Shelter in California. Unfortunately, Pit Bull breeds rarely make it out of that shelter alive, so it didn’t look good for the four puppies. They were only a few months old at the time and they were very scared.

Even though the odds weren’t in their favor, they were rescued. Pacific Animal Society in Washington offered to take in all four puppies. So, START Rescue was able to transport the pups to them thanks to a GreaterGood donation. All four of them had sweet and lovable personalities. Therefore, they were all quickly adopted regardless of their breed.

Mickey and Minnie

Mickey and Minnie quickly bonded during their time together. Luckily, they found a family that was willing to adopt them both. They are very loved at their new home, and they are very curious about new things. When Mickey discovered a mirror for the first time, he was very intrigued. He even barked and scared himself once! These two sweet puppies are so lucky to have a kind family now, and they are getting all the snuggles they deserve.

Oz

Oz was also adopted by a kind family almost right away. His new family even has a little boy that Oz quickly fell in love with. He gets plenty of attention at his new home, and he seems like the happiest pup in the world now!

Daisy

Unfortunately, Daisy had to stay at the rescue a bit longer than she was supposed to. When she arrived in Washington, she couldn’t seem to eat without upsetting her stomach. After trying a few different things, the staff rushed Daisy to the emergency hospital. They quickly found out that she swallowed a large rope and it caused a blockage in her stomach. It had been there ever since she was first surrendered. The blockage could’ve killed her, but luckily, she had a fast recovery. She found her forever home not long after.

Thanks to purchases from the iHeartDogs store, many dogs like these four Pit Bull puppies can be rescued. iHeartDogs sells a wide variety of products for both you and your dog, so you’re sure to find something you’ll love!
