Celebrity Dogs Walk The Red Carpet For A Screening Of Paws Of Fury

Imagine a movie theater filled with adorable dogs, all being pampered and given the royal treatment. It’s just as satisfying to watch as it sounds. All of them were celebrated the way we know our own dogs definitely deserve.

Doggy influencers, or those with thousands of internet followers, literally walked the red carpet, were given special treats, and then got to relax and watch a special screening of Paws Of Fury: The Legend Of Hank.

A short clip showing a synopsis of the event was shared on social media by “WeRateDogs,” a Twitter account that combines cute dogs with comical, sometimes snarky captions.

First, all the doggie influencers were picked up in a fancy limo where chilled “pupsicles,” or puppy-friendly popsicles, were waiting for them. Then, when they arrived, a gathered crowd welcomed them. Each dog exited the limo and strutted their furry self down the red carpet as the crowd excitedly clapped, cheered, and snapped photos. The pups were treated as if they themselves were the stars of the show.

A few of the dogs walked themselves down the red carpet while others were clipped on a leash. Some spectators were even lucky enough to pet some of the pups. Then, an adorable doggie influencer named “Puka” gave a long howl and let everyone know it was time to go inside and start the show.

Each dog was escorted to their seat, where they put up their paw rests and enjoyed the show. Pictures taken during the event made it seem like some of them were really watching the film!

Paws Of Fury: The Legend Of Hank is an animated movie that takes place in a town almost entirely populated by cats. Their village is being threatened by an evil villain who wants to wipe them off the map. So an underdog, Hank, who dreams of being a samurai, teams up with some of the locals to defend their town. Only, they don’t like dogs.

The movie is playing in theaters now, and quite a few celebrities are lending their voices to the feature film, including Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Gabriel Iglesias, Michelle Yeoh, George Takei, and Mel Brooks.

The film is described as a family-friendly homage to the 1974 Mel Brooks movie “Blazing Saddles” and a comedy for all ages.

Hop online to see if it’s playing in a dog-friendly theater near you. Otherwise, you and your pup will have to wait until it’s available to stream (around the end of August) or out on DVD.
