When the temps drop and the rain drizzles down, the dogs still need their walks.
But Hugh Jackman and wife Deborra-Lee Furness’s fur kids prove you can still be stylish in the chilly rain.
Plus, Dali and Allegra also show us a parent’s celebrity status matters little to a dog. They don’t care much about movies and theater. What matters to them is time with mom and dad, which Hugh and Deborra are happy to give, even if the weather isn’t sunny and warm.
Rainy Day Walk
If you follow Hugh Jackman on social media, then you know how much he loves his dogs. There’s a slew of adorable photos of Allegra and Dali with their devoted dad for fans to enjoy! Here’s one of Jackman and canines on warmer beach days.
But, the trio can also be found making the rounds in the cooler, wetter season too. In fact, the dogs have been spotted on regular strolls around New York City with their mom and dad paddling along beside them. The only thing different on a recent walk was the weather. But Dali and Allegra were stylishly prepared for the elements!
French Bulldog Dali looked dapper on the slick sidewalks of NYC in his hip black windbreaker. Sister and poodle mix, Allegra, pranced merrily along in her shockingly bright prink jacket. While the dogs looked warm, snug, and dry, Hugh and Deborra were bundled up too, but they looked a little chilled when compared with the two pooches!
But their fur babies are worth walking in the drizzle!
Hugh Jackman Loves His Dogs
Through the years, the Wolverine actor’s dogs have appeared on his social media timelines and even attended an appearance a time or two. Though he’s the actor, Jackman understands his dogs are likely more famous than him, conceding, “Your fans find a way every night to see you. It wasn’t for me. They’re asking about ‘the dogs – when are the dogs coming?’… I get it, they’re way more interesting than me.”
Allegra and Dali love their mom and dad, and the duo sometimes gets to travel with Jackman for work. But when they can’t go, Dad often video chats with them so the pooches won’t miss him too terribly.
As soon as he’s home again though, it’s “back to our regularly scheduled program.”
