Scared Stray That Kept Her Distance Inches Closer, Melts In Rescuer’s Lap

Donna from Stray Rescue of St. Louis came across a frightened Pit Bull needing help. As Donna neared the dog, the Pittie retreated to the other side of the building into a narrow alleyway. Armed with Vienna sausages, the rescuer spoke calmly to the poor pup. It was then she wagged her tail slightly.

The experienced rescuer explains in the video that if you make yourself small, the dog will see you as less of a threat. Once Donna crouched down, the dog was more receptive. Donna threw the pup some treats and made her way over. Trust was building fast! The pup hesitantly walked toward Donna to meet her part of the way. This was a huge step for the scared, submissive dog!

Amazingly, the stray pup stopped eating the trail of treats but still approached Donna. It seemed she wanted love and affection over food! The next moment is too incredible to spoil. See the touching interaction for yourself in the video below!
