More than 20,000 dogs from some 200 breeds have descended upon the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, England, for the 2022 Crufts Dog Show. The show runs March 10 – 13, promising a long weekend of canine fun and showmanship. And with last year’s Crufts canceled due to COVID-19, this year’s competitors are ready to strut their stuff!
Show dogs will compete for Group titles from among seven categories: Toys, Gundogs, Utility, Hounds, Working, Pastoral, and Terriers. And from those seven winners, one dog will win the coveted Best in Show prize! Attendees and viewers will also watch hard-working pups competing in agility, flyball, obedience, and heelwork to music categories.
Mixed breed dogs will also have their chance at show glory during the Scruffts competition, and dog fanciers will also learn which hero dog will take home The Kennel Club Hero Dog Award this year. Enjoy these photos of the arrivals and learn some fun facts about the Crufts Dog Show!
