Orlando Bloom Is Heartbroken After Dog Goes Missing

Orlando Bloom and his fiancée Katy Perry love small fluffy dogs. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has a small Poodle named Mighty while the pop singer has a nearly identical pup named Nugget. Both of the dogs appear on the couple’s social media pages often.

So, when Bloom revealed that Mighty was missing, fans were devastated. Of course, no one was more upset than Bloom himself though. After all, Mighty has always been such an important family member to the actor.

Mighty is Missing

Bloom shared a post on his Instagram asking followers to help him find Mighty. He didn’t give many details about the dog’s disappearance, but his post is clearly frantic. He said that the pup was last seen in Montecito, California. Bloom appreciates any information about Mighty’s whereabouts, and he’s even offering a reward.

“MIGHTY IS MISSING,” Bloom wrote on Instagram. “He is chipped and his collar has a number to call – if you take him to your local vet or shelter or police station he can be traced back to me for a reward. Please only send REAL INFO. My heart is already broken so please don’t add insult or injury.”

Mighty has been with Bloom since 2017. Bloom welcomed the pup into his home when he and Perry were separated for a little while. But now that they’re back together, Mighty and Nugget are able to be best friends again. Fans have a difficult time telling the two Poodles apart, but of course, Bloom and Perry have no problems distinguishing their fur babies.

Unfortunate Timing

Mighty going missing couldn’t have happened at a more difficult time. Not only is there a lot going on with the coronavirus pandemic, but Perry is also expecting their first child. The baby is a girl, and she’s suspected to arrive sometime in August.

The couple also recently dealt with the loss of Perry’s cat, Kitty Purry, who had been with Perry since she started her career. The rescue cat passed away about three months before Mighty went missing. So, the thought of losing another furry family member is unbearable.

Bloom and his fans are hopeful that Mighty is safe. Mighty and Bloom spent so much time together prior to this tragic event. So, being alone is probably terrifying for the little pup.
