What better way to encourage dog adoption than to show off an adorable rescue dog playdate? Actor Chris Evans and Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman already let their rescue dogs take over their social media. But now, they decided to let their two furry friends come together.
Evans’ rescue dog named Dodger and Raisman’s new rescue puppy named Mylo were destined to be best friends. An adorable video shows the two of them playing together, and it’s just as cute as you’d expect. After all, Evans and Raisman never get sick of showing off how incredible rescue dogs can be!
Dodger and Mylo Take Over Social Media
Evans’ social media has been dedicated to Dodger ever since he first set it up. He even admitted that the reason he finally caved and got Instagram is because he had too many dog photos going to waste. So, now his heartwarming Instagram page is covered with tons of photos of the adorable rescue dog. Evans met Dodger while filming at an animal shelter, and the rest is history.
Mylo’s time in the limelight has been much shorter, but he quickly gained fans too. Raisman adopted Mylo in the fall of 2020, and he warmed up to her right away. Raisman has always been a huge dog lover, and she’s not ashamed to admit that she gives her dogs plenty of kisses. The young puppy has made several appearances on Raisman’s Twitter page despite only being with her for a short amount of time.
The only thing that could be better than two celebrity rescue dogs is a rescue dog playdate! Evans met Mylo when the pup was first adopted, and Raisman shared a video of Evans holding the puppy in his arms. From there, Evans must’ve decided that Mylo was the perfect companion for Dodger because soon he scheduled a doggy playdate. The two were about to become best friends!

A Rescue Dog Playdate!
Raisman recently posted an adorable video of Dodger and Mylo playing together. In the video, Dodger seems very curious about the tiny puppy. He tries his best to play with Mylo, but he also remains cautious to avoid hurting the small creature. Mylo is full of energy though and doesn’t seem to realize how much smaller he is.
In the background of the video, Evans can be heard telling Dodger to “be gentle.” Luckily, Dodger listens to his dad fairly well. Both pups have wagging tails for the most part, so it’s clear that they’re becoming best buds.
