Jordan saw Chili’s post online right after her dog passed away. She felt an instant connection, but because she was in mourning, she was unsure if she could handle another dog. But Chili’s story pulled at Jordan’s heartstrings, so she felt she had to give him a chance!
Chili, an adorable stubby-legged puppy, was found by a rescue group along with his chained-up mama. The pup guarded his mama, knowing she was defenseless. Even at his young age, Chili showed loyalty and bravery– two qualities Jordan couldn’t resist. She adopted him and brought him home to her dog, Dolly.
Since losing her mate, Dolly was depressed. She had stopped eating and laid about the house with her ears down and tail between her legs. But once she met Chili, everything changed! As Jordan puts it, “It was so sweet to see her kind of come back to life.”
Chili’s mom is a Pit Bull, but his body type is quite interesting. He looks like a Pittie, but his legs are so short, and he’s very small for the breed. Jordan has no idea what his dad looks like, but one thing’s for sure– Chili is a happy pup with all the cute traits.
