Is your dog special and beautiful in their own unique way? Do you want to share their uniqueness with the world in order to help save the lives of others animals? If so, then this contest is your perfect opportunity. iHeartDogs.com is teaming up with Road Dogs & Rescue for the The Something Special Games, and all unique animals are encouraged to participate.
Road Dogs & Rescue created this event to celebrate all animals that are differently abled and differently beautiful. They’re looking for animals that stand out and are willing to make a difference. Whether your dog is blind, uses a wheelchair, or has a cleft lip, they’re all adorable and encouraged to participate. All entries and donations for this contest will be used to help Road Dogs & Rescue save more animals.
What are the Contest Categories?
There are 5 different categories that your dog can enter. Each category requires you to upload a cute video of your dog that fits the category requirements. These categories are open to all animals that are differently abled and differently beautiful.

Ain’t No Stopping Me!
This contest is for animals that can be considered unstoppable. Whether they survived against all odds, defied their limitations, or bring joy to everyone regardless of their past, these dogs are truly inspirational. Despite everything these animals have been through, they’ve refused to give up.
Just Because I’m Beautiful
All animals are beautiful, so just because some might not look or act as expected doesn’t mean they should be treated any differently. If you think your dog is beautiful in their own unique way, then you should enter them in this category.
Just Because I’m Awesome
Not only are all animals beautiful, but some might even have a special talent. Can your dog dance, sing, or do special tricks? Or are they just awesome with each and every thing they do? If so, this is the chance to give your dog some time to shine.
Fanciest Fancy Pants and Bad Ass Bling
This contest is specifically for dogs with diapers, wheelchairs, and casts. Just because they need these items on a day to day basis doesn’t mean they can’t dress to impress! This category is looking for animals that have adorably accessorized in their own special way.
Greatest Action Adventure Star
Some animals love to run around and explore regardless of the circumstances. Even if your dog is blind or only has three legs, there is no reason why they can’t hike or swim. If your dog loves to exercise or go on exciting adventures, then this is the perfect category for them.
What are the Prizes?
Of course, the best prize of all is knowing that you have helped animals in need, but there are still other exciting rewards that contestants can win.
Grand Prize
The grand prize is for the most votes overall regardless of the category. This winner receives $1,000, a year’s supply of Boss CBD, and a $150 iHeartDogs.com gift card!
Best in Category
The most votes overall in each category will also win exciting prizes. Each category winner will receive $100 and a $75 iHeartDogs.com gift card!
Weekly Winner
Every week that the contest goes on, there will be weekly winners as well. These winners will receive special, sponsored prizes and giveaways each week.
How to Enter
If you think your dog has what it takes, then enter them today, so they can start getting votes. In order to enter, there are just a few things you need to do:
- Choose the category for your video.
- Click “Submit Entry.” You will be prompted to either log in or sign up.
- Your video must be 60 seconds or less.
- All video entries must be original, copyright-owned work.
- All videos must meet the terms and conditions.
- Give them a correct email in order to claim your prize.
You can enter any time between October 1st and November 15th, but the sooner you apply, the sooner you can start getting votes.
Winners will be selected through a donate-to-vote process. It’s $1 for each vote, and those donations will be used to help Road Dogs & Rescue save the lives of more animals. Voting ends at 9PM PST on November 15th.
